This document sets out the terms and conditions you agree to by registering for an open cohort delivery of the Emotional Finance Programme, delivered by Emotional Finance.
Booking and Payment
These Terms and Conditions apply to bookings made for open cohort deliveries of the Emotional Finance Programme. They do not apply to bespoke or in-house deliveries, which are governed by a separate agreement.
A deposit of £250 is required to secure your place on the Programme. Your place is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The deposit is refundable in accordance with the Cancellations and Refunds section below.
The remaining balance of the Programme Fee (as set out in your booking confirmation) is due no later than one calendar month before the Programme start date. Payment instructions will be sent to you in advance of this date. If payment is not received by this date, Emotional Finance reserves the right to release your place.
Where a pay-in-full option is offered, the full Programme Fee (inclusive of any applicable discount) is due at the time of booking. Any discount applicable to this option will be confirmed in your booking confirmation and is not available in conjunction with any other offer.
In the event that the cohort does not go ahead - including where minimum participant numbers are not met - you will receive a full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit, within 14 days of notification
Cancellations and Refunds
If you need to cancel your place on the Programme, please notify us in writing as soon as possible by emailing emma@emotionalfinance.co.uk. The date of cancellation will be taken as the date your written notification is received.
The following refund policy applies:
More than 4 weeks before the Programme start date: Full refund of all monies paid, including your deposit.
Between 2 and 4 weeks before the Programme start date:50% refund of all monies paid.
Less than 2 weeks before the Programme start date: No refund is payable. However, you may transfer your place to the next available cohort at no additional charge, subject to availability.
No refunds will be issued for non-attendance or withdrawal after the Programme has begun.
If the Programme is rescheduled rather than cancelled, you will be offered the option to transfer to the new dates or receive a full refund.
Refunds will be processed within 14 days of your cancellation notification and returned to the original payment method
Attendance and Participation
To ensure a high-quality experience for all, participants agree to:
Attend scheduled sessions wherever possible and participate actively or catch up on recorded calls where that isn’t possible
Maintain the confidentiality of all group discussions
Join sessions from a confidential, distraction-free space
Arrive punctually, be prepared and engage respectually
Conduct and Responsibilities
Participants agree to:
Contribute professionally and respectfully in all sessions
Communicate proactively if unable to attend any part of the programme
Confidentiality
Prior to the cohort beginning, all participants will be asked to sign a confidentiality agreement to ensure all personal and professional information’s treated as confidential by all parties. In the event that a participant breaches confidentiality, the Provider reserves the right to remove that participant from the programme immediately. No refund will be issued in these circumstances
The provider may use anonymised examples for supervision or training purposes
All sessions are recorded for the purposes of participant learning and reflection. Recordings are stored securely, accessible only to programme participants via the programme portal.
Recordings are not to be shared outside the programme under any circumstances.
Data Protection
Participant data is collected and stored in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Data will be used solely for programme delivery, administration, and occasional service updates.
Participants may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their data at any time by contacting emma@emotionalfinance.co.uk.
Intellectual Property
All programme content and materials are the intellectual property of Emotional Finance.
Partipipants agree not to copy, reproduce, distribute, or share any materials without prior written consent.
Programme Changes
The Provider reserves the right to make reasonable changes to the content, schedule, or format of the programme.
Any significant changes will be communicated in advance.
Publicity and Testimonials
Participants may be invited to provide feedback or testimonials for marketing purposes.
No feedback or identifying information will be shared publicly without the participant’s explicit consent.
Disclaimers
The Emotional Finance Programme is a professional development programme. While it draws on relational and psychological frameworks, it does not constitute therapy or clinical supervision, and should not be treated as a substitute for any of these
No guarantees are made regarding specific outcomes or business results.
Participants are responsible for how they apply the learning in their own context.
Force Majeure
The Provider is not liable for any delay or failure in programme delivery due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control (e.g. illness, emergencies, or technical disruption).
In such cases, reasonable efforts will be made to reschedule affected sessions.
Ethical Practice
The Provider adheres to ethical principles informed by professional codes of conduct, including those of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP).
All work is delivered with care, integrity, and a commitment to professional boundaries and confidentiality.
Complaints and Feedback
Feedback is welcomed and encouraged. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the programme, please raise it promptly by emailing emma@emotionalfinance.co.uk.
All concerns will be handled respectfully and in a spirit of constructive resolution.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the programme, including indirect or consequential loss
Participants accept full responsibility for their own engagement and application of the programme content.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
Entire Agreement
These terms represent the entire agreement between the participant and Emotional Finance and supersede any prior communication. For any questions or clarifications, please contact emma@emotionalfinance.co.uk.

By joining an Emotional Finance Collective Peer Group you agree to the terms and conditions set out below. If you do not agree, do not proceed with your membership.
About Emotional Finance Collective Peer Groups
The Emotional Finance Collective is a community for financial professionals. Membership includes curated peer groups which are facilitated by Emma Boardwell.
Eligibility and Admission
The Emotional Finance Collective is a selective community. Admission is by application only. By applying, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Membership Term, Fees & Payment
Membership requires a 12 month minimum commitment (see satisfaction guarantee below). By joining you agree to remain an active member for at least 12 months from your start date.
Membership fees are invoiced at the time of enrolment and payment is requested for the full year up front unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Satisfaction Guarantee:
Applies if after attending your first three sessions in full, you decide that you are not satisfied. In order to be eligible for a refund you must attend the first three sessions in full and notify emma@emotionalfinance.co.uk within seven calendar days of your third session. If both these conditions are met and you are not satisfied, a full refund of fees of the remaining years fees will be issued. If you do not attend your first three peer group sessions in full, or if you do not notify us within seven calendar days of your third session, you are not eligible for a refund under this guarantee. This guarantee applies only to your first three peer groups sessions and cannot be applied retroactively or to subsequent membership periods.
Session Access and Participation
Membership includes one 90 minute facilitated session per month at a fixed time agreed mutually.
Attendance is expected. If you attend fewer than 10 of the 12 annual sessions (barring genuine extenuating circumstances) you may be asked to leave.

Capped at 6 participants
For the benefit of the Collective, members agree to:
Arrive on time and stay for the full session
Join from a quiet, confidential space
Join the session with their cameras on
Engage with curiosity, respect, and care.
Termination
By Members:
After your initial twelve-month commitment, membership will automatically renew on a three-month rolling basis. If you wish to leave, you must give written notice within the first month of any three-month renewal period. Notice given after this point will take effect at the end of the following three-month period.
Cancellations during the initial twelve month period are subject to the terms of your membership agreement, and remaining fees may still be owed except as provided under the satisfaction guarantee (see above).
By Emotional Finance:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your membership at any time if you:
Breach confidentiality (immediate removal)
Violate the code of conduct (see below)
Fail to pay membership fees
Engage in conduct that is disruptive, disrespectful or harmful to the community
In cases of termination by us for breach of these Terms, no refund will be issued.
Conduct
Members agree to:
Maintain the confidentiality of anything shared in sessions. You will be asked to sign a group contract which includes a confidentiality agreement. If broken you’ll be banned from the Collective Peer group community and will not receive a refund.
Contribute professionally, respectfully, and in alignment with the values of the Collective
Refrain from behaviour that may be disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful.
The Provider reserves the right to withdraw membership at any time if a participant’s conduct is deemed inappropriate or damaging to the safety of the space. This decision is at the discretion of the Provider and may be made without refund where we reasonably believe conduct risks harm to the group.
Intellectual Property
All Emotional Finance content, materials, frameworks and community resources are the property of Emotional Finance and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Members may not reproduce, distribute or share Emotional Finance materials outside the community without prior written consent.
Privacy and Data Protection
Emotional Finance stores and processes data in accordance with UK GDPR.
Your information will be used only for communication and administration relating to the Collective.
Emotional Finance may take brief, anonymised notes to support session design and facilitation.
Anonymised and non identifiable material may also be discussed in clinical supervision in confidence. This is a professional and ethical obligation which exists to protect the quality and safety of the group. Supervision is bound by professional confidentiality obligations.
Anonymised themes, patterns and illustrative examples drawn from group discussions may occasionally inform Emotional Finance content, writing or marketing - for example in articles, newsletters or talks. No individual, client, firm or specific situations will ever be identifiable in this material.

Programme Changes
The Provider reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments to session content, format, or scheduling in service of the group.
Disclaimers
The Peer Collective is a professional development space. It is not therapy, nor a substitute for therapeutic support.
Membership does not constitute a supervisory or clinical relationship.
Members are responsible for how they apply any insights or learning in their professional context.
Emotional Finance Collective Peer Groups are provided “as is.” We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the community, sessions, or any outcomes you may experience as a result of your membership. We do not guarantee specific business results, career outcomes, or professional advancement.
Ethical Practice
The Provider adheres to professional and ethical codes of conduct, including those of the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). All work is delivered with care, integrity, and a commitment to confidentiality and professional boundaries.
Feedback and Complaints
Thoughtful feedback is always welcome. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of your experience, please raise it promptly by emailing emma@emotionalfinance.co.uk. All concerns will be addressed respectfully and with care.

Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the community. Continued membership after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
Entire Agreement
These terms represent the entire agreement between the member and Emotional Finance and override any previous communications.
