The Emotional Finance Collective.
A nourishing professional development space for the human side of financial advice.
The Emotional Finance Collective offers a structured, supportive space to keep developing the relational intelligence, communication skills, and reflective practice that underpin strong client relationships, good outcomes, and commercial success.
The Emotional Finance Collective is a facilitated membership space for financial professionals who want to keep developing the relational and emotional side of their work - alongside others who care about doing the same.
It’s also a space for firms who recognise that relational excellence isn’t just good for your clients - it’s good for your staff and good for business. This is where your people can nurture the skills that make a real difference.
It’s a space to reflect, to practise, to ask the harder questions. To get things wrong. To cheer each other on. To gently challenge. To say what might not get said elsewhere. To feel supported, stretched, and part of something.
Whether you’ve worked with me before or this is your first step into Emotional Finance - you’re welcome here.
What is the Emotional Finance Collective?
Who It’s For.
The Emotional Finance Collective is open to all financial professionals; whatever their role, background, or stage of career, and including:
-
People new to this work who are curious about growing their relational confidence in a more thoughtful, human way
-
Professionals who’ve worked with me before either on an Emotional Finance Programme, 1:1 or via some in house training; and want to keep the momentum going
-
Firms looking for an ongoing, practical way to support team development and build a more client-centred culture
If you’re in the business of helping people make good decisions with their money — and want to do that with more depth, clarity, and presence — this is your space.
What to Expect.
A confidential and supportive space - nothing is recorded and trust is core to how we work
A range of topics - sometimes we’ll explore a theme suggested by Collective members, sometimes we’ll follow what’s live in the room, and sometimes I’ll bring a skill or challenge for us to explore. It’s all underpinned by the Emotional Finance model, but not confined by it.
Interactivity and participation at a pace to suit you. There’s no pressure to perform – you’ll never be put on the spot or made to contribute if you’re not comfortable.
A mix of reflection, dialogue and practice – you’ll have space to speak, listen, and try things out in ways that feel safe (but a little stretchy) should you choose to.
Encouragement to keep your camera on, but to come as you are, even if that’s in your PJs or your hoodie.
Please try to join from somewhere quiet and private to help you be as present as you can be and so we all help keep the space feeling safe and respectful.
Joining the Collective isn’t like logging into another meeting. It’s something different, and intentionally so.
Here’s what you can expect:
This is where the deeper work begins.
How it Works.
The Collective is currently in its beta stage, which means it’s still evolving. As we learn what works best for the group, things may shift slightly. But here’s how it works for now, during this introductory phase:
Each month, I offer four live, facilitated sessions (one per week)
Session times vary week to week to give you the best chance of finding a time that fits your diary
You can book into one session per month in advance to secure your spot
A few days before each session, any remaining spaces open up — so if there’s room, you’re welcome to join more than one (even all four)
Each session is capped at 12 participants to keep the space personal, spacious and interactive
In these early stages, group sizes may be smaller which means even more focused time, tailored input, and connection
The Collective runs 9 out of 12 months each year - we’ll take a break in April, August, December
I ask for a 3 month commitment, after which you can cancel at any time
